Abstract
The invention relates to a projection device () for a motor vehicle headlight, wherein the projection device () is configured to project light from at least one light source () associated with the projection device () in a region in front of a motor vehicle in the form of at least one light distribution, wherein a light-impermeable coating consists of partial layers arranged in an at least planar manner one on top of the other, specifically a reflective metal first partial layer () and a second partial layer (″) consisting substantially of black light-absorbing paint, wherein the first partial layer (') is arranged between the input lens system () and the second partial layer (″).
