Abstract
The invention relates to an internal combustion engine having a fuel tank (), a tank ventilation line () and a Venturi nozzle () disposed in a fluid-carrying component (), wherein the Venturi nozzle () has an inflow channel (), an opening point () adjoining downstream of the inflow channel () with a fluid connection to the tank ventilation line (), and an outflow channel () adjoining downstream of the opening point (). In this case, an outflow section () of the Venturi nozzle downstream of the opening point () is surrounded by the component () in such a manner that a detection space () is formed around the outflow section (), wherein the detection space () has at least one inlet opening () via which the detection space () can be pressurized and wherein at least one pressure sensor () for monitoring the pressure in the detection space () is provided.
