Abstract

A liquid discharging apparatusincludes a carriageconfigured to reciprocate relative to a medium, and a plurality of discharging unitsattached to the carriageand configured to discharge liquid onto the medium. At a plurality of replacement positions in a reciprocation direction B of the carriage, the carriageallows the plurality of discharging unitsto be replaced. At the plurality of replacement positions for the carriage, a discharging unit to be replaced, among the plurality of discharging units, is accessible from downstream in a discharge direction C of the liquid.
