Abstract
A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes: a ceramic main body having a structure in which each of a plurality of dielectric layers and each of a plurality of internal electrode layers are alternately stacked and are alternately exposed to two end faces of the ceramic multilayer structure, a main component of the dielectric layers being ceramic; and a pair of external electrodes that are formed from the two end faces to at least one of side faces of the ceramic main body, wherein a relationship of y≤1+1.48x is satisfied when a temperature of the multilayer ceramic capacitor is increased from 190 degrees C. to 260 degrees C., wherein 'y' is a total amount of hydrogen gas, water vapor and carbonic acid gas (number of molecules/10) released from the multilayer ceramic capacitor, wherein a volume of the multilayer ceramic capacitor is 'x' (mm).
