Abstract

In an exemplary embodiment, a pair of sliding components has annular sliding surfaces that slide with respect to each other in which plural dimplesare arranged on at least sliding surface S on one side, wherein the plural dimplesare randomly arranged to form a random dimple group, and the dimplesare arranged in a manner that a radial-direction coordinate average of centers of the dimplesof the random dimple groupis smaller than a sliding radiusof the sliding surface S.
