Abstract
Methods and computer program product for signaling objects of participant gaze in a video conference in which a plurality of participants are displayed on respective screens. A first object of gaze is associated with one of the video participants based on a detected locus of gaze of the first participant relative to that participant's screen. The object of gaze is associated with a participation node of a second video participant on the basis of a display position of the second video participant on the screen of the first video participant. A participant-related gaze indicator links the first video participant to the second participant and is displayed at a display position of the first video participant's screen. Thus, each participant is apprised of other participants' attention. Additionally, a reciprocal gaze between a pair of participants may be indicated, where present.
