Abstract
The present invention relates to a freewheel () comprising a first race (), a second race (), and clamping elements () between the first and second races (), said clamping elements connected in rotational engagement with the first race (), wherein the clamping elements () consist of first clamping elements () which are able to move between a first position, in which the first race () is able to rotate in relation to the second race () in a first direction of rotation (), and a second position, in which the first race () is coupled in rotational engagement with the second race () via at least one of said first clamping elements () in the first direction of rotation (). At least one first clamping element () is designed to be elastically deformable.
