Abstract

A digging apparatus () is disclosed. The digging apparatus () includes a handle assembly (), a motor (), a main switch () electrically connected with the motor (). The main switch () is movable between a first position in which operation of the motor () is allowed and a second position in which operation of the motor () is prevented, and a drilling bit () is driven by the motor (). The drilling bit () has a longitudinal axis (P-P, M-M), and when the switch member () is in the first position, the motor () is adapted to drive the drilling bit () to rotate about the longitudinal axis (P-P, M-M) in a clockwise direction in response to pushing of the handle assembly () in a direction towards the drilling bit (), and the motor () is adapted to drive the drilling bit () to rotate about the longitudinal axis (P-P, M-M) in an anti-clockwise direction in response to pulling of the handle assembly () in a direction away from the drilling bit ().
