The present disclosure is related to a live-attenuated strain offor its use as a vaccine, and for use in a method for preventive immunizing and for treatinginfection, in particular in patients suffering from cystic fibrosis. Preferably, the live-attenuated strain ofis furthermore treated to become 'killed but metabolically active'.
