Abstract

A compound having a structure represented by the following general formula emits delayed fluorescent light and is useful as a light-emitting material. Three or more of R, R, R, and Reach represent a 9-carbazolyl group, a 10-phenoxazyl group, or a 10-phenothiazyl group, and the balance thereof and Reach represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent, but exclude a cyano group. Rexcludes an aryl group, a heteroaryl group, and an alkynyl group.
