Abstract
An occupant restraint structure () includes a steering wheel () provided with a grip section (), an instrument panel () having a panel () on the side of a driver's seat, and an airbag (). The grip section () has an acyclic shape. The airbag () is deployed behind a rear end reference surface (S) that is an end surface of the panel () on the side of the driver's seat on a rear side of the vehicle. At least a part of the grip section () is disposed further forward with respect to the vehicle than the rear end reference surface (S) of the panel () on the side of the driver's seat.
