Abstract
Provided are a silicon-based composite anode active material for a secondary battery and an anode including the same. The anode active material for a secondary battery may be a silicon-based composite anode active material, which may include a graphite and a silicon component including two or more selected from the group consisting of Si, Si-M, SiO, and SiC. The Si-M may be a silicon alloy, and the M may include at least one selected from the group consisting of a transition metal, an alkaline earth metal, a group 13 element, a group 14 element, and a rare earth element.
