Abstract
A method includes obtaining a first count value of a first protocol data unit, delivering a service data unit corresponding to a second value set in a first value set to an upper layer protocol stack, and deleting a fourth value set from a third value set when the first count value matches a second count value, where the first value set includes a count value corresponding to a protocol data unit, delivered in-order, in a receiving buffer of a wireless device, the third value set includes a count value corresponding to a protocol data unit that has been delivered by the wireless device to the upper layer protocol stack out-of-order, and a fifth value set including the second value set and the fourth value set is a continuous count value section for which counting starts from the first count value.
