Abstract
The invention relates to a lamp () for a rear view device of a motor vehicle (), with at least one light source () for emitting light beams, a collection optics () for collimating the light beams and a scattering optic () downstream of the collection optics () in the beam path of the light beams, which has a first main direction of beam (), which, in the installation position of the lamp () in a left-hand drive motor vehicle (), is directed towards an eye ellipse () of a driver of the motor vehicle (), and has a second main direction of beam () which, in the installation position of the lamp () in a right-hand drive motor vehicle (), is directed towards an eye ellipse () of a driver of the motor vehicle (). Furthermore, the invention relates to a rear view device with at least one lamp according to the invention and a motor vehicle with at least one lamp according to the invention or at least one rear view device according to the invention.
