Abstract
The invention provides an improved controller () for a games console. The invention is a games controller () that is intended to be held by a user in both hands in the same manner as a conventional controller (). Additionally, the controller of the invention () may comprise the same controls () as a conventional controller (). The controller of the present invention () is advantageous as it additionally comprises four additional controls (A,B,C,D) located on the rear of the controller () in a position to be operated by the middle fingers of a user (). The additional controllers (A,B,C,D) may be paddle levers comprising an attachment mechanism which does not require any tools for the attachment of the paddle levers to the controller () or the removal of the paddle levers from the controller ().
