Abstract
An apparatus captures an image of an ID tag displaying printed ID information specific to a patient to acquire an ID-tag image, and acquires a color correction value from the ID-tag image. The color correction value is used to correct an image to be captured. The apparatus corrects a captured image of an affected area by using the color correction value.
