Abstract

The present invention relates to a near field communication, NFC, arrangement () which comprises an antenna () and a controller (), wherein the controller () is connected to the antenna () for receiving and/or transmitting data and controlling the operation of the NFC arrangement (). The NFC arrangement () further comprises a booster () operatively connected to the antenna (), and an activation circuit () connected to the NFC arrangement (), wherein the activation circuit () is configured to detect an electromagnetic field and in response thereto power up and activate the NFC arrangement (). In one embodiment, the activation circuit () is configured to generate said enabling signal by converting said electromagnetic field into said enabling signal.
