Abstract

A device and method for controlling the rotation of radiotherapy equipment are provided. The device includes: a detector, configured to detect the rotation of a rotational load of the radiotherapy equipment, and record a rotational deviation amount when the rotational load rotationally deviates; and a controller, configured to generate correction instructions for eliminating the deviation according to the rotational deviation amount when the detector detects the rotational load of the radiotherapy equipment rotationally deviates. The deviation occurred to the rotation of the rotational load is timely corrected by monitoring the actual rotation of the rotational load of the radiotherapy equipment, thereby improving the safety and positioning accuracy of the radiotherapy equipment.
