Abstract
The invention relates to a food preparation entity comprising a cavity () for receiving food to be prepared and an image recognition system () for gathering optical information of the food to be prepared, wherein the food preparation entity () is further adapted to store, gather and/or receive meta-information and select one or more food types out of a list of food types based on said meta-information and said captured optical information.
