Abstract
A motor vehicle latching system with a locking mechanism, which comprises at least a catch and at least a pawl for ratcheting of the catch, with an operating leverwhich can be rotated to open a motor vehicle door and with a transmission elementby means of which rotation of the operating levercan be transmitted into pivoting of a triggering leverto disengage the locking mechanism. For the coupling of the transmission elementwith the operating lever, the transmission elementshiftably reaches through a coupling openingof the operating lever. A coupling sectionof the transmission elementwhich is located in the coupling openingis arch-shaped. Especially reliable operation of the motor vehicle latching system can thus be enabled.
