Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a heating element comprising at least two parts which are composed of different molybdenum disilicide-based compositions, wherein at least one of the molybdenum disilicide-based parts is based on a chromium-alloyed based molybdenum disilicide composition ((MoCr)Siwhere x is of from 0.05 to 0.25); and at least one part is based on a molybdenum disilicide-based composition comprising more than or equal to 90 weight % Mo(Si,AI). The present disclosure also relates to the use of the heating element.
