Abstract

The invention relates to an incontinence diaper () with a main part (), which comprises a front region (), a rear region () with rear lateral longitudinal edges (), and a crotch region () arranged between the front region and the rear region, and with rear lateral sections () which are joined to the rear region () on both sides, whereas no lateral sections () are joined to the front region (). In order to position and close the incontinence diaper (), the rear lateral sections () can be brought into overlapping arrangement with a front region () exterior, to which the lateral sections can then be removably adhered via respective closure means (). The rear lateral sections () have an elastic or elasticized region (), and the extension (Q) of the rear lateral sections () comprises a proximal half () which adjoins the rear longitudinal edge () and a freely ending distal half () in the transverse direction (). The invention is characterized in that the respective elastic region () of each rear lateral section () is arranged completely within the proximal half () and extends to the paired rear longitudinal edge () or has a distance of maximally 30 mm from the rear longitudinal edge () in the transverse direction (), and each rear lateral section () is substantially non-stretchable in the entire distal half ().
