Abstract
An on-board virtual reality system is provided for use on-board a vehicle during a trip. The system includes a user input unit, a trip information input unit, a display unit, and a processing unit. The user input unit is configured to receive user input associated with a particular user. The trip information input unit is configured to acquire trip information corresponding to the trip. The display unit is configured to provide a virtual reality display to the user. The processing unit is configured to acquire the user input from the user input unit, acquire the trip information from the trip information input unit, generate a virtual reality display using the user input and the trip information, with the virtual reality display tailored for the particular user, and provide the virtual reality display to the particular user.
