Abstract
The regenerative cooling system () is provided for a regenerative heat engine () and comprises a cooling chamber () which surrounds a gas expander (), leaving open a gas circulation space () between said chamber () and said expander (), a working gas () expelled from the gas expander () circulating in said space () before returning to a regenerative heat exchanger () where it is cooled, a large portion of the heat of said gas () being reintroduced into the thermodynamic cycle of the regenerative heat engine ().
