Abstract

A concrete component has a concrete matrix () and at least one non-metal reinforcing element (), which can be shaped and at least one reinforcing part (). The at least one reinforcing part () has a plurality of reinforcing threads () or reinforcing yarn arranged in a plastic matrix of a plastic (K). The plastic (K) is designed to be reversibly cross-linked. The cross-links can be released by heating the plastic (K) and reestablished by cooling the plastic back down. Thus, it is possible to produce and store a reinforcing element in completely hardened form as a standard element. In one application, the produced reinforcing element can be reshaped into the desired shape by releasing the cross-links in one or more locations, reshaping the reinforcing element, and then hardening the reinforcing element again by reestablishing the cross-links.
