Abstract
Polymeric polyoxazolines of the following structure are disclosed: where X is the residue of a polymeric polyol after reaction with a dicarboxylic acid/anhydride; where Ris an organic moiety; where Y is an organic moiety containing one or more oxazoline groups; and wherein each Ris independently hydrogen or an organic moiety. Methods of making such polyoxazolines and using them in a coating, and packages coated therewith, are also within the scope of the present invention.
