Abstract

A glass article includes a first outermost pane, a second outermost pane disposed opposite the first outermost pane, and a transparent interlayer disposed between the first and second outermost panes. The first outermost pane has a thickness of from 1.1 to 4.0 mm, and has a first glass transition temperature. The second outermost pane has a thickness of from 0.3 to 1.05 mm, and has a second glass transition temperature. The second glass transition temperature of the second outermost pane is from 1 to 40° C. greater than the first glass transition temperature of the first outermost pane.
