Abstract
A power control method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: determining, by a first station obtaining a transmission opportunity (TXOP), status indication information after determining working statuses of M second stations during the TXOP, where the status indication information is used to instruct a second station in the M second stations that needs to receive data during the TXOP to remain in a listening state, and instruct a second station in the M second stations that does not need to receive data during the TXOP to enter a sleep state; and sending, by the first station, the status indication information.
