Abstract
The present invention relates to a start switch or contact point () for rotating electric machines with single-phase power supply, having a base () bearing actuating arms () carrying conductive blades (). The actuating arms () are independent and one-piece, each one carrying at least one conductive blade () and being pressed against a stop () by a resilient element (), also including a sliding surface () with a friction-reduction region (). The present invention also relates to an electric machine provided with a corresponding start switch or contact point.
