Abstract

A method performed by a wireless communication device for monitoring for a paging message from a core network node in a wireless communications network. The wireless communication device monitors () for the paging message at one or more paging occasions during a time period for monitoring paging. The start of the time period is based on an instant of time when the wireless communication device registers to the core network node.
