Abstract
The present invention provides a cable installation method and a coupling unit, the cable installation method enabling the installation of a cable with an improved workability. From a messenger wireinstalled between polesand, a spiral hangar unitor the like is suspended in the vicinity of first pole, the leading end of the spiral hangar unitand the leading end of the lead wireis connected to each other with a coupling unitinterposed therebetween an operation of connecting another spiral hangar unitto a tail end of the spiral hangar unitwhile feeding the lead wire, is repeated, the spiral hangar unitis fed to the vicinity of second pole, then the spiral hangaris fixed to the messenger wire, and thereafter a cableis installed between the poles.
