Abstract
A lever-type electrical connector (), a corresponding mating electrical connector () for accepting the lever-type electrical connector (), and a lever-type electrical connector assembly () thereof are described herein. The lever-type electrical connector () has a first portion () with a first slot () configured to accept a rib protrusion () of the corresponding mating electrical connector () and a lever () pivotally mounted to the first portion () with cam grooves () on opposing interior surfaces configured to accept cam-follower protrusions () on opposite sides of the rib protrusion ().
