Abstract
The invention provides a pressure sensor () that can be produced at low cost, operates more accurately and resists to high burst pressures. The pressure sensor () comprises at least one membrane () and a magneto-elastic detection device () for magneto-elastically detecting mechanical stress caused by pressurization.
