Abstract

A transmission case () includes a case () and a side cover (). A rotation sensor () including a connector terminal part () is attached to the side cover (). A seal member (FIPG) () is interposed between joining surfaces () of the case () and the side cover (). A notch portion () where the seal member () is accumulated is provided to an outer peripheral surface () of the joining surface () which is adjacent to the connector terminal part (). Accordingly, the amount of the seal member () protruding outward from the outer peripheral surface () of the flange portions () is reduced, thus suppressing connection failure of a connector.
