Abstract
A process for purifying an olefinic feedstock containing olefins with 4 carbon atoms and impurities including isobutanal, ethanol and acetone, the process including a pre-treatment containing at least one step of eliminating the ethanol and the water present in the olefinic feedstock and a step of simultaneously eliminating the isobutanal and the acetone, by passing the feedstock from the pre-treatment over at least one fixed bed of at least one adsorbent containing at least one material with a zeolite framework, the material with a zeolite framework being chosen from zeolites, AIPOs, SAPOs and mixtures thereof; the step of simultaneously eliminating the isobutanal and the acetone being carried out at a temperature of between 0 and 200° C., at a pressure of 0.1 to 10 MPa and with an hourly space velocity of the feedstock over the fixed bed of 0.1 to 10 h.
