Abstract
A method, performed by a gateway node (), for managing packets on a transport connection between a first end-point () and a second end-point () is disclosed. The gatewaynode () forwards (A), on the transport connection (), a first packet from the first end-point () to the second end-point (). The gateway node () finds (A), by inspection of the first packet, that the first packet indicates closing of the transport connection () at the first end-point (). Moreover, the gateway node () receives (A) after the finding (A), on the transport connection, a second packet from the second end-point (), wherein the second packet is destined to the first end-point (). Furthermore, the gateway node () discards (A) the second packet, thereby refraining from forwarding, on the transport connection, the second packet from the second end-point () to the first end-point (). A gateway node (), a computer program and a computer program carrier are also disclosed.
