Abstract
A circuit device () includes: a pixel clock judgment circuit () that outputs a pixel clock judgment signal ERPX that is activated if an edge of a pixel clock signal PXCK has not been detected in a detection period that is set by a reference clock signal RFCK; a signal judgment circuit () that judges whether or not a display control signal DCS is normal based on the reference clock signal RFCK, and outputs a signal judgment signal EPDC that is activated if the display control signal DCS is anomalous; and a mask circuit () that masks the display control signal DCS when at least one of the pixel clock judgment signal ERPX and the signal judgment signal EPDC is activated.
