A sample introduction deviceincludes a heating unit, an ultraviolet irradiation unit, and a sample supply part. The heating unitvaporizes a sampleby heating externally a containerin which the sampleis enclosed. The ultraviolet irradiation unitcauses ultraviolet rays to pass through the containerand irradiates the samplewith the ultraviolet rays. The sample supply partsupplies the sample vaporized in the containerto a gas chromatographside.
