Abstract

The application concerns melon plants () resistant to infection with tomato leaf curl New Dehli virus (ToLCNDV). The resistant melon plants have a genomic introgression fragment on chromosome 5 which confers tolerance to ToLCNDV in a dominant manner. Also disclosed are markers for identifying those fragments, methods for identifying or producing resistant melon plants.
