Abstract

A device () for producing a three-dimensional object () through layer-wise solidifying of build-up material () at positions () corresponding to a cross-section of the object () to be produced in a respective layer comprises a coating device (-) for applying a layer of the build-up material () on a working plane (), a solidifying device () for the selective solidifying of the build-up material () in the applied layer and a gas suction nozzle () for extracting gas from the device () by suction.
