Abstract

An object of the present invention is to provide a golf ball showing improved controllability on approach shots for less than 40 yards, in particular, on approach shots around the green (about 10 yards to 20 yards) and improved controllability on approach shots from the rough, and showing excellent shot feeling. The present invention provides a golf ball comprising a golf ball body and a paint film covering the golf ball body, wherein a loss tangent tan δ has a peak temperature of 50° C. or less and a peak height of less than 0.8, obtained by measuring dynamic viscoelasticity of the paint film under the following conditions: <Measuring Conditions>
