A compound represented by formula (A-0) or (B-0) is useful as a material for organic EL devices which realizes an organic EL device exhibiting high emission efficiency even when driving at a low voltage and has a long lifetime: wherein Rto R, n1, m2, k3, k4, n5, m6, k7, k8, Lto L, and Ar are as defined in the description.
