Abstract
Sealing caps and method for manufacturing such sealing caps are presented wherein the sealing cap has a body () with a U-shaped profile with a base () and a perimeter wall () wherein the outside of the body is coated with a layer of an elastic material () and wherein the base is provided with a continuous convex ridge () adjacent the perimeter wall.
