Abstract
Disclosed are a lidar sensor for vehicles and a method of operating the same. In accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure, the lidar sensor may include a first sensor configured to measure a distance to a target; and a second sensor configured to control output of a transmission signal considering the measured distance and measure a front including the target using the controlled transmission signal in high resolution.
