Abstract

A transparent substrate with a light shielding region includes a transparent substrate, and a light shielding region on a peripheral portion of one main surface of the transparent substrate. The light shielding region includes a first light shielding region and a second light shielding region. The first light shielding region has a luminous transmittance of 0.1 to 40%, and an average transmittance at a wavelength of 800 to 1,000 nm of 65% or more. The second light shielding region has an optical density of 4 or more. The second light shielding region has a luminous reflectance of 0.1 to 1% and an average reflectance Rat a wavelength of 600 to 700 nm being 1.5 times or more of an average reflectance Rat a wavelength of 400 to 600 nm of the second light shielding region.
