Abstract
The invention relates to a sprinkler housing () for a sprinkler (), in particular for operating pressures above 16 bar, comprising a fluid channel () which is provided in the sprinkler housing () and has a fluid inlet () and at least one fluid outlet (), a closure element (), which is movable from a blocking position into a release position in a release direction (A), wherein the closure element () closes the fluid channel () in the blocking position and releases same in the release position, a sealing element (), which is mounted on the closure element () and is designed to close the fluid channel () in a fluid-tight manner in the blocking position, wherein a protective chamber in which the sealing element () is arranged is defined between the closure element () and the recess () in the release position.
