Abstract
An image processing deviceselects, from among images in which an object to be sensed is captured, a representation image which is a reference for processing. In a state of the representation image being selected, the image processing device carries out a comparative analysis between the representation image and the image which differs from the image which has been selected as the representation image, and thereby computes a degree of displacement between the representation image and the image. From among the images which have been assigned as reference images, the image processing device selects the reference image which will be used in a process of analyzing the movement of the object to be sensed, on the basis of the degree of displacement which has been computed.
