Abstract
A data reader () and connector system including a housing (); side walls enclosing an interior, one of the side walls formed with a cable exit opening; a printed circuit board () mounted parallel to and proximate one of the side walls; a socket () mounted on the printed circuit board and facing inwardly into an interior of the housing and opposite the side wall formed with the cable exit opening; and a cable () connected to the socket, cable formed with a loop within the housing from the first socket and out through the cable exit opening.
