Abstract
A data backup method is disclosed, the method including the following steps: acquiring remaining storage capacity of a cloud space (S); collecting usage characteristic information of an application when the remaining storage capacity is less than a preset value (S); grading the application based on the usage characteristic information so as to obtain a grade of the application (S); and when the grade of the application is consistent with a preset grade and the data in the corresponding application is updated, backing up updated data to the cloud space (S).
