Abstract
A connector has a housing () and a detector () is movable in the housing () in a front-rear direction from a standby position to a detection position in front of the standby position when the housing () and a mating housing () are connected properly. The housing () includes protrusions () on side surfaces, and the detector () includes side walls () configured to cover the side surfaces of the housing (). The side wall () includes a resilient piece () configured to bulge outward by interfering with the protrusion () in a moving process to the detection position and eliminates bulge at the detection position. The side wall () includes the resilient piece () and rearward facing surfaces () at positions adjacent to the resilient piece () via slits () on a side surface.
